ILE DE CHEONGDAM


The name ILE DE CHEONGDAM is inspired by the French 

word ‘île,’ meaning island. 

Embodying the essence of an urban oasis, our restaurant

provides each guest with a respite from the daily grind, 

offering a place to relish gourmet cuisine 

and experience true comfort. 


Our chef hails from Sinan in South Jeolla Province,

a region in Korea renowned for its multitude of islands.

Drawing inspiration from the harmonious coexistence

of nature and humanity on these beautiful islands,

we have created a small island. 

Here, we introduce a variety of local ingredients 

and foods in creative ways, hoping to provide 

a satisfying and enriching experience for many. 

In addition, we are dedicated to contributing 

to the sustainable development of island communities.

Sustainability


Our team is collectively working to save energy in our daily

routines and to properly sort waste for recycling. 

We ensure that kitchen waste is composted, refrain from

using plastics and disposable containers, and are continually 

increasing our use of upcycled and biodegradable materials.

Our menus are printed on eco-friendly recycled paper.

By sourcing healthy ingredients from the pristine region of Sinan,

we prioritize the use of animal welfare-friendly eggs and 

produce cultivated through eco-friendly farming methods,

thereby carefully crafting our courses with these sustainable choices.
